CLICKON Media nominated at Digiday North America Video Awards

We’re ecstatic to announce our two nominations in Digiday’s Video Awards. These prestigious awards recognise the companies, campaigns and technology using video to modernise media and marketing.

Our epic Faces of the Fleet series is up for Best Brand Film (Series) – which was this year’s most entered category. We’re absolutely thrilled to be nominated, especially up against such big names.

The Best Brand Film (Series) is awarded on the basis that the series will have successfully enhanced a brand’s image and/or increased an audience’s connection with a service or product.

CLICKON Studios teamed up with Y&R Memphis to produce Faces of the Fleet. When most people think of the Navy, they see ships, jets and advanced technology. They rarely see people, the ones who know the real meaning of Navy life.

By shifting the focus from technology to real and raw stories of our men and women in uniform – inside their real envioronments – we invite the viewer into an intimate and personal connection with our sailors every month.

After watching, our audience will gain an understanding of what life is truly like inside America’s Navy. These captivating stories also serve as a teaching tool, boosting the Navy’s recruiting capabilities.

CLICKON are also extremely honoured to be shortlisted for the Best Video Advertising Agency. This award honours the advertising, media or creative agency that has best displayed excellence through video content planning and execution across platforms this year.

2018 was a huge year for CLICKON; we partnered with incredible brands to produce some truly epic content. Take our work with Special Olympics. We worked on a series of films as part of their 50th Anniversary turning point, with renewed focus on inclusion through sport, health and school engagement.

Sahil Patel, media editor at Digiday said: “This year’s Digiday Video Awards reflect an industry that has undergone a massive shift – and expansion – over the past year. Video itself can mean so many different things these days, and we want to highlight and reward the great work being done across this increasingly broad and diverse industry.”

Winners will be announced at the Digiday Video Awards Gala on March 7 at Tribeca 360 in New York City.
